Hi, Friends!

Welcome to the curious world of Grablatch Jukeberry :) This started as napkin doodles in my cafe 8 years ago.

I grew up in the pastures of Western Pennsylvania crawling through drainpipes in the woods, observing the anxious movements of black-capped chickadees, and dropping out of highschool in order to read Doestevsky with the feeling he deserves.

Then I got all serious about stuff in college and forgot to laugh. Eventually it came back to me after retirement from my post as an applied philosopher with the LA Public School District. Quickly I reentered the workforce as a Mom, the most incredible career move ever. Now I am lucky to invest my days bopping around cafes writing books and articles, making art, fostering free-range, organic community in urban third spaces as a Mother Clucker, and eating many units of candy.

Thanks so much for stopping by--I hope you enjoy these creations as much as I enjoyed creating them!

P.S. -- I'm writing a book about the last seven years building community through cafe culture in LA: "The Coop" eventually found here: www.Mother-Clucker.com
